With 150 guest rooms in the lodge, we provide authentic hospitality through year-round programs, retreats, and events. We seek a part-time Housekeeping Supervisor to support the manager in directing staff and operations for consistent guest satisfaction of 3.6 or above.

The role ensures guests enjoy clean, comfortable accommodations without distraction from the Sandy Cove experience. Daily tasks include overseeing cleaning inspections, performing administrative duties, and maintaining rapport with other departments for guest preparation. Supervisors handle room cleaning, deep cleaning, laundry, and supply monitoring as needed.

Foster a team-oriented learning environment by delegating assignments and using skill level sheets for training. Adhere to health, safety regulations, and department standards in all operations.

Requirements

  • 1 year in supervisor role, preferably in hospitality
  • Ability to perform administrative duties like forms and reports
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations for housekeeping
  • Skills in staff training and development using skill level sheets
  • Familiarity with proper sanitary cleaning procedures and inspections

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and run the department effectively in the absence of the Housekeeping Manager
  • Assist in spiritually leading department staff with devotions, prayer, and encouragement
  • Perform ongoing cleaning inspections to ensure quality
  • Delegate work assignments to housekeeping staff and encourage adherence to standards
  • Professionally clean guest rooms using proper sanitary procedures, changing linens and restocking amenities
  • Assist with laundry by sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens
  • Proactively monitor housekeeping supplies and communicate needs to the Housekeeping Manager
  • Review complaints, make reports, and escalate maintenance requests
