Hyatt Place Boston/Medford, part of the dynamic Colwen Hotels family, seeks a hands-on, passionate, and results-driven Hotel General Manager to take the helm. This roll-up-your-sleeves leadership role focuses on connecting with guests, empowering teams, and ensuring every detail shines for operational excellence and memorable experiences.

Lead all aspects of hotel operations from Front Office and Housekeeping to Maintenance and Sales. Oversee daily operations to deliver exceptional quality, cleanliness, and service while bringing Hyatt’s core award-winning standards to life through leading by example.

Requirements

  • Seasoned hospitality leader with 5+ years of hotel General Manager experience
  • Energetic, motivated, and passionate about creating unforgettable guest experiences
  • Strategic thinker and hands-on operator who leads by example
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and a creative problem-solver
  • Skilled communicator who thrives in a collaborative, people-first culture
  • Hyatt brand experience highly desired

Responsibilities

  • Inspire, coach, and lead a passionate team to deliver best-in-class hospitality
  • Bring to life Hyatt’s core, award-winning service standards through leading by example
  • Oversee all daily operations to ensure exceptional quality, cleanliness, and service
  • Develop strategic business and financial plans that drive results and profitability
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to create innovative revenue-generating initiatives
  • Build strong community relationships and stay in tune with local market trends
  • Recruit, train, and develop top talent, fostering a culture of excellence and fun
  • Oversee full renovation of the property as it becomes re-imagined into the premiere hotel north of Boston
