The Rooms Division Manager oversees Front Office, Housekeeping, and Guest Services to ensure exceptional guest experiences in this seasonal role from late April through September 2026. This hands-on leader drives team performance and maintains high service standards during the busy summer season.

Daily operations involve a strong presence on property to support staff, interact with guests, and collaborate with Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Retail teams for efficiency and cohesion. Monitor occupancy, room assignments, and rate strategies to support revenue management.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of progressive leadership experience in hotel operations, preferably in Rooms Division management
  • Strong understanding of front office systems
  • Experience supervising housekeeping and guest services operations
  • Knowledge of revenue management including occupancy monitoring and rate strategies
  • Proficiency in staffing, scheduling, and performance management for seasonal teams
  • Ability to multi-task, think quickly, and adapt to accomplish goals
  • Familiarity with health, safety, and cleanliness standards in hospitality
  • Experience using company software for payroll management

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Rooms Division, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, and Guest Services teams
  • Ensure seamless daily operations with a strong presence on property to support staff and interact with guests
  • Develop and implement service standards, policies, and procedures aligning with guest-focused culture
  • Monitor guest feedback and operational performance metrics to identify and implement improvements
  • Manage staffing, scheduling, performance evaluations, training, and resource planning
  • Partner with Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Retail teams for cohesive guest experience
  • Oversee inventory control for linens, amenities, and housekeeping supplies
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
