About this role

Responsible for the overall success of the hotel, ensuring guest satisfaction targets and managing the overall customer experience. This role achieves positive associate satisfaction, meets financial goals, and upholds the property's reputation while maintaining company brand standards. It provides leadership to property associates for an exceptional workplace.

Ensures rooms are Guest Ready with highest cleanliness standards, maintains public areas and grounds, and completes daily room inspections. Manages ESA Brand Standards and processes for continuous improvement. Efficiently manages rooms, labor expenses, and cash including in-house balances.

Follows proper recruiting, interviewing, screening, and hiring procedures. Onboards and trains new associates with Best Day Ever and Extended Stay University compliance. Drives positive work environment through teamwork, daily team meetings, and providing necessary tools.

Partners with District Manager for optimal associate performance via coaching and policy enforcement. Ensures quality lead generation through GSR collections, in-house leads, and market awareness. Upholds ESA standards, policy compliance, and timely bank deposits.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage overall hotel operations and guest satisfaction
  • Experience leading teams in hospitality environments
  • Knowledge of brand standards and cleanliness protocols
  • Skills in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and training associates
  • Competency in financial management including cash handling and labor control
  • Familiarity with lead generation and market surveillance in hospitality
  • Ability to enforce policies consistently and coach associates

  • Ensure proper recruiting, interviewing, screening, reference checking, and hiring procedures
  • Onboard and train new associates including Best Day Ever and Extended Stay University compliance
  • Drive positive work environment through teamwork, leading by example with energy and recognition
  • Manage labor expenses by approving daily punches and utilizing productivity reports
