About this role
Civeo Services Employees LP is looking to fill a Housekeeping Supervisor role for the Fort McMurray oil sands region. The successful incumbent works as a member of the Housekeeping Team to achieve performance goals and maintain an efficient work environment. This temporary position lasts up to 3 months with possible extension on a 20 days on, 10 days off rotation.
The Housekeeping Supervisor goes above and beyond to ensure exceptional customer service. Key duties include supervising staff, assigning rooms to Camp Attendants, and preparing morning briefings. Training new employees and checking linen counts support daily operations.
Daily tasks involve ensuring quality standards are met or exceeded, assisting with safety meetings, and coordinating with front desk for seamless guest experiences. Inventory counts and ordering are handled as required. Excellent communication builds strong team relationships.

Requirements
- Minimum of 3-years’ experience in a supervisory role in a related industry
- Formal housekeeping training required; front office experience is an asset
- Computer literacy in Microsoft products including Excel and Word
- Familiarity with hotel management/property systems would be an asset
- Must be able to pass Pre-Access (drug/alcohol) test
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- Able to manage time efficiently
- Strong attention to detail
Responsibilities
- Supervise housekeeping staff including Camp Attendants, Janitors and other workers
- Ensure quality and standards are being met or exceeded
- Assign rooms to Camp Attendants
- Prepare morning briefings (toolbox notes)
- Train new employees on standards and expectations
- Check the linen counts for laundry pickup and delivery days
- Assist with safety meetings
- Assist with inventory counts and ordering as required
- Assist and coordinate with front desk to ensure seamless guest experiences
