Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all interactions and respond to individual needs as they occur. Clean and maintain assigned rooms and suites daily, including stripping linen, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking lights, equipment, and stocking supplies. Report missing items and needed repairs to supervisor while protecting guest safety.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors
  • Ability to lift and pull a minimum of 20 pounds
  • Ability to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials
  • Ability to be a team player
  • Knowledge of all hotel departments and events
  • Good mathematical and computer skills
  • Knowledge of the local area
  • CPR and first aid training preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain warm, hospitable guest relations in all guest contact
  • Respond to individual guest needs as they occur
  • Clean and maintain all assigned rooms and suites daily, including stripping linen, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking lights and equipment, and stocking supplies
  • Report any items missing from rooms and suites
  • Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work
  • Protect guest safety and well-being; be courteous to all guests and co-workers
  • Thoroughly complete projects and assignments professionally with care
  • Adjust to high pressure conditions and be open to change
