As Conference & Events Manager, lead planning and delivery of weddings, conferences, banquets, and private functions. Coordinate logistics, manage banqueting bars, oversee staffing, and ensure smooth operations from setup to guest experience in this hands-on role.

Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house teams in a fast-paced environment. Supervise the events and banqueting team, monitor timelines, and resolve issues promptly. Thrive creating memorable experiences while maintaining high standards.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage the operational delivery of all events, including weddings, conferences, and banquets
  • Coordinate room layouts, catering, equipment, and staffing for each function
  • Manage banqueting bars, including stock control, ordering, and compliance with licensing laws
  • Ensure health & safety standards are maintained across all event operations
  • Supervise and schedule the events and banqueting team
  • Liaise with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth service
  • Monitor event timelines and resolve any operational issues promptly
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and service quality
