In charge of opening The Usual Florence, build the team, position as sustainable lifestyle hotel and F&B hotspot, set processes and standards. Oversee daily operations, restaurant, and wine bar post-opening. Balance efficiency with lifestyle brand character under empowering leadership.
Moments from the station and steps from iconic streets, the hotel offers 80 guest rooms, wine bar with Tuscan dishes, library, fitness, art space, and lush courtyard. Requirements
- Commercially driven hospitality leader thriving in building operations from the ground up
- People-focused with experience building and leading teams for top-notch service
- Strong leadership promoting inclusion, ownership, and empowering team members
- Proven ability to set operational processes and standards for lifestyle hotels
- Financial acumen with accountability for hotel revenue metrics like RevPAR and EBITDA
- Knowledge of F&B operations including restaurants and wine bars
- Experience positioning hotels as community and lifestyle hotspots
- Familiarity with hospitality compliance including health, safety, and local regulations
Responsibilities
- Lead the successful pre-opening and opening of The Usual Florence, ensuring seamless launch across operations, team, and guest experience
- Drive best-in-class guest experience and service excellence, positioning the hotel as a leading hospitality destination in Florence
- Own and drive overall financial performance, with full accountability for Revenue, GOP, EBITDA, ADR, and RevPAR
- Build, inspire, and lead a high-performing team culture focused on ownership, energy, and exceptional guest service
- Establish and optimise operational structures, processes, and standards, balancing efficiency with lifestyle and F&B-driven guest experience
- Position The Usual Florence as a leading lifestyle and F&B destination, ahead of local trends with strong community and brand relevance
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements including health & safety, HACCP, fire safety, and local legislation
- Act as the face of the hotel, building relationships with guests, partners, local community, and key stakeholders
