Hold overall management responsibility for hotel profitability, guest service, product quality, and cleanliness within approved annual budget, marketing plan, capital expenditure plan, and wage plan. Operate always within company policies and procedures. Guide the property's financial interests through diligent accounting and expenditure controls.

Lead the Executive Committee with a participative style, coordinating departments and special projects. Foster high esprit de corps and loyalty as part of Sage Hospitality Group. Build relationships with guests while creating value for shareholders and unforgettable experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to manage full hotel operations including profitability and guest service
  • Expertise in developing and achieving annual operating budgets and wage plans
  • Experience leading executive committees in hospitality settings
  • Strong skills in P&L statement analysis and financial forecasting
  • Knowledge of coordinating departmental objectives and special projects
  • Demonstrated success in staff relations and building team loyalty
  • Proficiency in ensuring product quality, cleanliness, and property maintenance

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Executive Committee utilizing a participative style and effectively communicate with members
  • Develop annual operating budget to define required levels of achievement
  • Assure achievement of annual budget in revenues, costs, and profits through expenditure controls
  • Set written priorities and key objectives for each department head quarterly with action plans
  • Conduct monthly forecasting of operating staff, cost expenditures, and business planning
  • Review monthly financial statements to correct problems and plan for future business
  • Review and approve all expenses in other expense categories across departments
  • Develop high level of esprit de corps and loyalty to the hotel and staff
